When Is The Tree Lighting In Nyc 2025. Brave souls who aren’t afraid of the cold are invited to watch the tree lighting in person at rockefeller center, located at 30 rockefeller plaza near 5th avenue. On christmas eve, the tree is lit for 24 hours and on new year’s eve it is lit from 5am to 9pm.
Kelly clarkson will host the event and will include performances by jennifer hudson, the backstreet boys and broadway star megan. The christmas tree lighting is on december 4, 2024 between w 48th & 51st st and 5th & 6th ave.
